Join us for the 7th edition of the British Falcon Races to be held at Vowley Farm on the 20th and 21st September.

 

Race categories include the 400m Flat Race, the exhilarating Hunt Race, Junior Flat Race, and BRAND NEW for 2025, Junior Hunt Race and Super League Hunt Race!

 

 

 

 

Before entering the races this year, please see below, as there have been a few changes to the Race Categories and Rules. 

Junior Races-

If you are under 18 years old, you can enter the Junior Category for both the Flat Race and the Hunt Race, but you are also welcome to compete in the Adult Categories, if you wish. If you are over 18 years old you are excluded from the Junior Races.

The Junior Flat Race will be held on Saturday 20th, and the Junior Hunt Race will be held on Sunday 21st.

 

Flat Racing-

The categories are the same as in previous years, with Novice Flat Racing taking place on Saturday and Open Flat Racing on Sunday. Competitors entering the Novice Flat may also enter the Open Flat race if you wish, but once you have been placed in the top 3 of either Category, you will be prohibited from entering the Novice Race in the future.

 

 

Hunt Racing-

Adult Hunt Race Categories are now split into 3 categories, Novice ( Saturday 20th), Open (Sunday 21st), and the SUPER LEAGUE. The Novice and Open are as normal with the addition of allowing Novice falcons to also enter the Open Race until they have been placed in the top 3 of either category, after which, they have to remain in the higher category. The Super League is only for falcons who have placed in the Top 3 of the Open Hunt Race in a previous year (enter as normal for the Open Race, and you will automatically be moved to the Super League).
