BEFORE entering the races, please see below, as there have been a few changes to the Race Categories and Rules. 

 

 

Junior Races 2026

To continue our support for junior falconers at the 2026 races, all junior entry fees and prizes will be covered by the individual race sponsor.

If you are under 18 years old on race day, you can enter the Junior Categories for both the Flat Race and the Hunt Race.

The Honeybrook Farm Junior Flat Race will be held on Saturday 12th.

The Wingbeat Junior Hunt Race will be held on Sunday 13th.

 

Flat Racing (Telwah) Open to competitors 18 years old and over.

The categories are the same as in previous years, with Novice Flat Racing taking place on Saturday 12th and Open Flat Race on Sunday 13th. Competitors entering the Novice Flat may also enter the Open Flat race if you wish, but once a falcon has been placed in the top 3 in either Category, you will be prohibited from entering that falcon in Novice Race at future events.

 

 

Hunt Racing – Open to competitors 18 years old and over.

Adult Hunt Race Categories are split into 2 categories: Novice ( Saturday 12th) and Open (Sunday 13th). Competitors entering the Novice Hunt  may also enter the Open Hunt race if you wish, but once a falcon has been placed in the top 3 in either Category, you will be prohibited from entering that falcon in Novice Race at future events.
